Every now and again I feel like I’m brushing up against a moment of enlightenment like that guy at the end of The Last Samurai.
He does some kind of meditative practice where he seeks the world’s most perfect cherry blossom. Then, at the end when he’s dying, he realizes: “They’re all perfect!”
